Courses
FAA Award in Awareness of First Aid for Mental Health
Equips learners with the knowledge to recognise the early signs of common mental health conditions. Participants will gain practical skills to approach and support someone who may be struggling, start supportive conversations with confidence, and understand how to signpost individuals to appropriate professional help.
FAA Award in Awareness of Safeguarding
Equips learners with the awareness and sensitivity required to understand safeguarding responsibilities. Participants will learn how to recognise the different types and signs of abuse, respond appropriately to disclosures, accurately record concerns, and share information safely with the relevant authorities.
FAA Award in First Aid for Mental Health
Builds on the Level 1 course by deepening understanding of mental health in the workplace. Participants will explore the impact of drugs and alcohol on mental wellbeing, learn to apply the First Aid for Mental Health Action Plan, and develop practical strategies to promote a positive and supportive mental health culture within their organisation.
FAA Award in First Aid for Youth Mental Health
Designed specifically with children and young people in mind, this course explores key areas such as depression, self-harm, eating disorders and bullying. Participants will gain the knowledge and practical skills to recognise potential mental health concerns, start supportive conversations with confidence, and guide young people towards appropriate professional support.
FAA Award in Supervising First Aid for Mental Health
Provides an in-depth understanding of a wide range of mental health conditions and the support pathways available through healthcare professionals. Building on both Level 1 and Level 2 content, this course is designed for Trainer/Assessors and supervisory roles, equipping participants with the confidence and knowledge to lead, support others, and embed effective mental health awareness within the workplace.
FAA Award in Safeguarding Children, Young People or Vulnerable Adults
This one-day qualification develops awareness and sensitivity around safeguarding responsibilities. Participants will learn to recognise the different types and characteristics of abuse, respond appropriately to disclosures, accurately record concerns, and share information safely with the appropriate individuals and agencies.
