This 6-hour qualification provides learners with a deeper understanding of mental health and equips them with the knowledge and practical skills to support someone who may be experiencing a mental health condition. Participants will learn how to recognise a range of conditions, start a supportive conversation, apply the First Aid Action Plan for Mental Health, and signpost individuals to appropriate professional help.
The course also explores how to promote a positive mental health culture within the workplace, helping organisations reduce stigma and create supportive environments where people feel safe to speak up.
This qualification is regulated in the UK and awarded by First Aid Awards (FAA).
